I personally recommend being honest. However, there are times when you have to lie in good faith. Think of case where you know the facts, but you need to hide them from your clients and those around you. Do you have an obligation to disclose all information to your clients? In that case, you have to trust your own common sense and move on. This is a good situation to apply your ethical principles. If you feel remorse for revealing information you know to client, you may need to hide the facts. Personally, I don’t think it’s a false act to not tell client what they don’t need to know. Think about the outcome of the circumstances you choose. If you have trouble making a choice, seek advice from someone you trust. As you gain experience, you will have the ability to easily solve problems.
